MEGACRIMP COUPLINGS FOR ONE & TWO BRAID WIRE HOSES

MegaCrimp® couplings give you a leak-proof seal that’s so innovative, it’s patented. It’s what’s inside the MegaCrimp coupling that makes it perform so well, the "C" insert. This "C" insert allows usage with different constructions and wall thickness. In addition, the "C" insert ensures an even distribution of crimping forces to form a concentric seal. That simplifies your inventory requirements since one size can accommodate many different hose ODs, on both one and two-wire hoses. An additional bonus: MegaCrimp™ couplings are a fully qualified EN-performance coupling.

GLOBALSPIRAL™ COUPLINGS

Gates® GlobalSpiral™ couplings provide superior performance for extremely high-pressure, high-impulse spiral-wire hydraulic hose applications. The innovative two-piece, no-skive design allows for fast, tailor-made assemblies. Eliminating the skiving process drastically reduces assembly time, labour, odour, fabrication errors and contamination of the fluid power system. Maximum application coverage - GlobalSpiral™ couplings are available in more than 80 thread configurations, so finding the right fit for your assembly has never been easier. GlobalSpiral™ thread ends are able to handle working pressures up to 6,000 psi. Coated with TuffCoat® plating - more than five times better corrosion resistance than SAE ASTMB117 specification.

LIFEGUARD™ SLEEVES

Line-of-sight protective sleeving used as a hose guard to protect operators, equipment and the environment, providing containment up to 70 MPa bursts and pinhole leaks up to 35,0 MPa. Correlates to ISO 3457 and meets MSHA flame resistance.

• LifeGuard™ clamping system allows the fluid to safely escape down the length of the assembly.
• Provides containment up to 10,000 psi burst or pin hole leak.
• Creates a noticeable spill for hose failure detection.

MULTI MASTER® GMV™ MEGAFLEX®

One hose engineered for four industrial applications: fuel, hydraulic return, coolant, and water, Gates Multi Master® GMV™ MegaFlex® delivers superior performance and ultimate flexibility. Recommended for suction and discharge applications where excellent flexibility is required and applications requiring maximum resistance to air, water, petroleum, and lubricating oils.

• One multi-use hose that meets SAE 100R4, J30R5, and J20R5 (except tube dimensions).
• Higher temperature range and is rated at 1/5 the bend radius of SAE 100R4.
• Uses a helical spiral-wire to prevent hose collapse under suction.
