to machine dealer A.P. Jørgensen

As an important service partner for agriculture and contractors, it is extremely important to A.P. Jørgensen that reliability of delivery is guaranteed. To be able to provide the high level of service and care that A.P. Jørgensen is known for, it is crucial that they get their components from their suppliers quickly and on time.

A.P. Jørgensen is one of Denmark's oldest machine dealers, and dates back to 1896, when Anders Th. Jørgensen started the business. Since then, the business has developed together with the agricultural industry with several expansions at their address in Ribe, as the company has grown bigger and bigger over the years. On 1 January 2018, Danish Agro Machinery Holding A/S acquired the business with approx. 40 employees, however the business continues with the same spirit as when it was family-owned.

A.P. Jørgensen has been selling agricultural machinery for more than 100 years, and today has a very wide range of tractors, construction machinery, garden/park machinery, etc. In addition, they operate a physical warehouse where customers can buy components for their machines, as well as having a workshop with specialists employed to perform service and repairs on the various machines. It is exactly for service and repairs in the workshop and for A.P. Jørgensen's new hydraulic trailer, HydraSpecma supplies hydraulic components, which are ordered easily and quickly through our webshop.

LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP
The relationship between A.P. Jørgensen and HydraSpecma goes back a long way.
   – We need to go back to when the name was Hydra-Grene. In fact, I don't recall there having been anyone other than HydraSpecma. It's just always worked well, so we didn't have to look for anyone else, says Søren Thomsen, Warehouse Manager at AP Jørgensen.

The long cooperation and the good relationship have also been carried over into a new hydraulic trailer, which will ensure a wider assortment when A.P. Jørgensen is out servicing their customers. HydraSpecma is a full-line hydraulic supplier to the hydraulic trailer with hose crimper, hydraulic hoses and couplings. With this trailer, it has become even easier to servicing their customers, providing the service level that A.P. Jørgensen wish to provide, as you have a workspace inside the trailer, and are able to carry a wider assortment around.  

HYDRASPECMA'S EXPERT KNOWLEDGE IS IMPORTANT
At A.P. Jørgensen, 90-95% of their orders are placed in HydraSpecma's webshop, as Søren Thomsen states: "On the webshop, ordering runs completely automatically, it is easy. HydraSpecma has almost everything within hydraulic components, and the delivery is absolutely optimal. The ordered components are here in the morning when we show up."


For A.P. Jørgensen, the delivery time of stocked items is not crucial, as they always have a minimum on stock, but when they receive a special order, delivery time is key, and here A.P. Jørgensen trusts HydraSpecma: "If a customer calls in and says that he needs a lot of couplings for a production of many new machines, I just tell him to come in tomorrow and they will be here. That safety aspect of delivery is important, and it just works with HydraSpecma." – Søren Thomsen, Warehouse Manager, A.P. Jørgensen.

In addition, Søren Thomsen also emphasizes the importance of HydraSpecma’s expert support, as it is important to be able to get assistance quickly when a customer comes in with a machine that needs repair, e.g. during harvest season there are no time to waste.
   – HydraSpecma has the product, but also the knowledge. There are a lot of people who can sell hydraulic components, but they don't have the knowledge base that HydraSpecma has. If we need a valve, then HydraSpecma has an expert who knows everything about valves. And if it's cylinders, you get an expert in that area. You don't have that when you contact others. If you have questions, it is important to be able to get technical assistant quickly, otherwise time runs too quickly, explains Søren Thomsen, Warehouse Manager at A.P. Jørgensen.

THE FUTURE
When asked about the future collaboration between HydraSpecma and A.P. Jørgensen, Søren Thomsen are clear: "It has never been interesting to look at other options. HydraSpecma has always been there and will most likely continue to be there. I don't see why that would change."
