A partnership is based on mutual trust. For Söders, being able to trust each other and help each other is most important. The collaboration with HydraSpecma has lasted for over 30 years and is based on an open relationship where challenges and questions are quickly discussed and sorted out.

An important part of the partnership is to develop the business together. Söders represents an important market and it requires both parties to contribute by working together in projects and directly with customers.
– Söders is very competent and receives new input whenever it is at a customer’s site or meeting with customers in the store. This is an important source of information for us at HydraSpecma. Söders’ inspiring drive challenges us to find new solutions together, says Henrik Skogsborn, Area Sales Manager at HydraSpecma.
Availability is another piece of the puzzle that Söders and its customers value highly in a supplier. Anders Jacobi, the site manager at Söders in Kalmar, emphasizes the importance of availability of both components and information.
– Not only do we need to keep up to date on which hydraulic components are available in HydraSpecma's wide range, it also needs to be easy to find what you are looking for. I have good contacts at HydraSpecma and can quickly call and discuss technical solutions when needed, says Anders.
EMPLOYEES ARE THE KEY TO SUCCESS
Since competence is part of the offering, it is of utmost importance to highlight the role of the staff. Every employee is important and contributes with their specific skills.
– It’s impossible to overstate the value of our employees. We complement each other and work together to reach the best possible solution. Each individual contributes and has helped to create our success and the company we are today, says Mats.
Mats sees that customer needs are changing; he is planning to develop Söders to offer the best possible support. Maintaining a high level of competence is crucial, and over the years Mats has engaged in vocational training in hydraulics. These days, there are not as many courses offered, which places more demands on internal training as well as commitment from suppliers and partners.
– Söders is my life's work. It feels important that we maintain the right skills and commitment to our customers and also to be a stable source of security for all our employees. Our customers must continue to trust that we are competent in solving their problems and delivering solutions that work over a long period of time.
